A Prayer From Sunday (7.11.10)

Holy God,

We confess that we often fill our need,

our desperateness for You,

with other things.

Father, may we seek your truth and love always,

in our moments of joy and moments of pain,

as we journey toward knowing You more deeply.

You alone are the Lover of our souls.

We are lost without You.

Praise be to the One who made the heavens and the earth,

Who gives us hope and grace.

Amen.
